Very good food, good choice for fish lovers. Scallops and squid are both v tatsty. The hostess is v friendly, service seems to be very much give and take, the more friendly you are the more firnedly they are, which isn't ideal, but hey (!)

Very nice, very classy Chinese restuarant. Not quite the Yang Sing but better than 90% of Manchester's China Town offerings. Loads of unusual dishes as well as all the old Cantonese favourites, not afraid to make their Peking dishes hot and spicy either, which is always a plus in my book. Staff are attentive, quick but not fussy and the atmosphere is relaxed (by Knustford standards... i.e. people are dressed up a bit!) even the maitre-de was very friendly. Also do take-aways which are comparable in price to Knutsford two dedicated Chinese take-aways but of a much, much higher quality.

Having read the differing reviews of Man Zen regarding service and value for money, my personal experience of this restaurant was superb When an extra member of our party arrived they were easily accommodated even though the restaurant was full. Servce was excellent from all staff, including the big fella and the meal was good value for money.

I enjoyed my experience their, but was a little disappointed after such good review. The service was very good and it is a lot different to any other oriental restaurant I have ate at. It was expensive and wasn't really value for money.

I have the most wonderful Valentines Day. The Special Menu is fantastic. At the end, i got a balloon and chocolate from the friendly Manager. He did look after us all night.

I had a great time the other night, the service was great I feel most welcome by the friendly staff. The quality of food is top. I was surprise by the different variety of food they served.

Food is excellent, although not particularly cheap. However, as mentioned by another reviewer - the service is fairly dreadful. The large guy is one of the rudest waiters i have met!

I was there on Friday night 03.12.04 ( glad I booked a table ) it was quite full, "the stir fry dover-sole" was worth every penny,so was the monkfish.

Certainly one of the most ideal dining places I've been for years. Surprised to find great varieties of authentic Chinese/Asia starters selection. Remarkable quality in food and service, will recommend to friends and family.
