This place just gets better every visit. I have never experienced such friendly and helpful staff who obviously enjoy and take a pride in giving, first class service. The whole experience was superb and our friends from Bristol were so impressed. I wholly commend this fine venue to you!

Second visit and no less impresed. Staff were attentive, friendly and courteous. The food was superb and the whole experience was very special. I would prefer the absence of music as the noise level was raised by diners trying to talk over the music. The exeperience of the whole doesn't need music. A member of their team thanked us for our patronage and bade us return soon - such customer care is a very rare thing and much appreciated by those of us who have been dining out for 4 decades and value such treatment. Keep it up!

Have just had a wonderful meal at Loch Fyne! The location, decor and atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed meal out, contemporary and classic music was playing at the perfect volume and the restaurant managed to combine the smell of Fresh and cooked fish perfectly (almost like eating fish straight from the sea somewhere) I had the Lobster Bisque to start which was Awesome! And the Prawns in garlic butter with new potatoes. The Prawns were borderline perfect and I could quite happily have eaten them all day. The only criticism is the set menu, those that chose to order from this were slightly disappointed with the food, and the EXTREMELY overbearing Head Waitress who took patronising to a new level when she referred to the Head of our family as "This esteemed Gentle man here..." And When asked "Can one trust that the meal was entirely to your satisfaction?" We held back the giggles. This level of service would embrace anyone but luckily for me I had the sweet taste of fresh prawns to take my mind off it! All in all a fabulous meal in a fabulous restaurant (We also saw a few Celebs enjoying an evening together too)

Your review text (optional) If you enjoy fish, with a glass of wine and a relaxed atmosphere; to have time with friends, partner and child in tow, or just a coffee at the bar, this is an excellent find all round. Service has been prompt and friendly since it opened in July. Have been back several times and we are only at the beginning of August. Worth a visit if your just shopping,as they also offer a lunch time deal.

I was lucky to be one of many specially invited to sample a complimentary 3 course meal at Loch Fyne last week. It is a brave restaurant that opens it's doors during the week of Friday 13th... Though not familiar with this particular chain I looked forward to a more specialist menu and a smart and vibrant addition to Knutsford's gourmet reputation. I was not disappointed. I liked the use of wood panelling and simple tables and chairs not too close to each other. The young staff, still in training, were cheerful, efficient and informative. Great choice of dishes. Wonderful smoked salmon, fish stew, halibut and lobster...mmm... even veggies are not forgotten and, to my surprise, prime Highland sirloin steak and pork and herb sausages are also available. My only small criticism - the summer pudding was too stodgy, needed more fruit and pouring cream. My party also found the chips not crisp and freshly cooked but rather soggy. Otherwise an excellent meal, good wine list and happy atmosphere for all ages. I shall be meeting up here with my girlfriends to test the lunch menu very soon (Mon-Sun 12-7pm, 2 courses and a side order for eleven pounds.) Sounds good to me. Sea you there !
